Your wellbeing is extremely important. When you feel well you are happier and more satisfied. You have the energy to reach your goals. You can live more fully. You are also able to take better care of yourself and the people around you.
What stops you from feeling good?

I invite you to ask yourself this question. There might be different reasons. Some of them might be related to more serious problems. However, in many cases, we are our own worst wellness enemies. We might not even be even aware of that. Even if we are, we don’t know how to improve. In many cases, our habits get in the way of our seeing the problem for what it is. Responding to stress in an unhealthy way has an impact on our health in the long term.

I’ve learned and developed a few techniques, which have helped me to improve my well being and health during the past few years. I was able to completely cut out cigarettes and alcohol. I lost more than 15 kilos (35 pounds) in a few months, and my weight is now stable. I’ve learned how to respond to stress differently. I have more energy. I also see the world through a far more positive lens than before.

Balance is a key

If you would like to feel well, it’s important to create a balance between your mind, body, and soul.

  • Body – How do you care about your body? Do you eat the right foods? Are you doing any physical exercise?
  • Mind – You can look at it in a similar way to your body. What you feed your mind with has an impact on the way you think, feel and how you see the world. Are you doing any exercises for your mind?
  • Soul – You don’t need to even believe in the existence of it. By using the word “soul” I mean the fire inside you, that which pushes you forward, your beliefs, values, and ideas about life and reality.

It’s OK

We might not feel good and happy sometimes. And that’s ok. However, if we feel like that for a lengthier period of time, it’s not so good.
